Your guide will pick you up early morning from your hotel, and hit the road driving to Murchison Falls National park en route rhino tracking at Zziwa Rhino sanctuary and lunch at Amuka lodge and then proceed to Murchison falls national park. After breakfast, go for a morning game drive on the southern banks of the river. The morning drive will take you through different habitats. On the drive, you will have an opportunity to watch some of Africa’s unspoilt big game and may also see some of the the BIG 5 – lions, elephants, buffaloes and leopards. Other wildlife to see includes giraffes, Hartebeest, Bushbucks, Jackal, hyena, oribis, Uganda kobs and many others. After lunch, you will carry out a launch cruise which will take you to the bottom of the falls along the River Nile. The Nile hosts large concentrations of Hippos and crocodiles. For the birders, Murchison Falls is a birder’s paradise with concentration is many bird including the rare shoebill stork, Fish Eagle, African Skimmer, Grey-crowned Crane, Black-headed Gonolek, Goliath Heron, Green-winged, Long-toed Plover, Saddle-billed Stork, . Wake up early for breakfast at your hotel and be ready to transfer to Kibale national park national park reaching going through the remote village of Kyenjojo, you will have a chance to view massive tea estates which is a common economic activity in kibale getting there in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay at chimpanzee guest house (budget)/Kibale forest Camp (mid-range)/Kyaninga lodge (luxury).
You will wake very early in the morning have breakfast and get your packed lunch and then head to Kanyanchu park headquarters in Kibale forest national park where you will be allocated a guide who will brief you and you then head for chimpanzee tracking in the forest. Kibale forest national park is called the primate capital of east Africa because of the high primate population it has. It’s the only national park in east Africa where one can have the best primate tracking viewing the chimpanzee man’s closest primate and many other primates like monkeys plus a number of bird species. You will get chance to have your lunch in the wild as you listen to the sights and sounds of the forest. After tracking, you will return to the park headquarters, relax a bit and head to the Bigodi wetlands if you are interested in birding or visit the Bigodi community for community tourism and later return to your lodge Meals and overnight at chimpanzee guest house (budget)/Kibale forest Camp (mid-range)/Kyaninga lodge (luxury)
After breakfast you will proceed to Semuliki valley national park, in Bundibugyo District. This is the only lowland tropical rain forest in East Africa classified as moist and semi- deciduous. After an early morning breakfast head on to Queen Elizabeth national park for a short game drive through the mweya sector as you head to your hotel for lunch. After lunch go out for a boat cruise along the Kazinga channel which connects both Lakes George and Edward. Return to your hotel for Dinner and overnight at; Simba Safari Camp (budget), Marafiki safari lodge (midrange) and Mweya safari lodge (luxury).
Today you will set off quite early with packed breakfast and head out for your early morning game drive to catch sight of the early risers. This is the best time to see wildlife along the Kasenyi trail. Expect to see elephants, buffaloes, lions, waterbucks, Uganda Kobs and quite a number of others. After the game drive, continue south towards Ishasha which is the southern part of Queen Elizabeth National park. This sector is known for the unique tree climbing lions. After breakfast in the wild, we will start off our search for the tree climbing lions which search starts at around 10am when the lions have finished hunting and eating their meal up in the tree branches. This part of the park not being frequented a lot has a wide concetration of undisturbed wildlife which one will enjoy viewing. After the game drive we will have lunch and then to transfer to Bwindi impenetrable National Park, a home to 360 mountain gorillas. Dinner and overnight at Mahogany Springs or Gorilla Forest Camp (Luxury)/ Silverback Lodge (Midrange)/Buhoma Community Bandas or wagtail eco safari camp (Budget).
Today is your gorilla trekking day. Wake up early for breakfast and with a packed lunch at your hotel, set off with your guide to the park head offices where you will attend a briefing session from a head guide. Trekking for gorillas in Bwindi requires visitors to be physically fit as it involves hiking for long hours. Time taken to finally meet your group may last from 1 – 8 hours depending on the movement of your group. Once you meet the gorillas, only one hour is allowed during which you get to observe, take pictures, and study how they interact with one another. Returning to your lodge after. An option of a village walk or relaxing at the lodge.
After your breakfast, transfer to L. Bunyonyi as you enjoy the magnificent views of Kabale hills adorned with terraces. Arrive in time for lunch and then take a canoe trip to explore the different islands on this 2nd deepest lake in Africa. You are likely to be fascinated by the overwhelming variety of birds from which the lake derives its name. You may have a picnic lunch on the island and return in the evening for dinner and overnight at Bird nest at Bunyonyi (Luxury)/Bunyonyi overland resort (mid-range)/ Crater Bay Cottages. (budget)
You will wake up in the morning, have breakfast and drive to Lake Mburo national park located in Kiruhura district in western Uganda. This is another home of a variety of wildlife species. After having lunch, you will head for an afternoon boat trip on the lake, coming back in the evening for an optional evening Zebra walk. After breakfast start off to a game drive in the park to view one of the famous animal in this park zebras, lake mburo known for lots of , Kobs, Oribis, Elands, Topi, Zebras, deffasa ducks and lots of other mamals. After the game drive, we will proceed with the drive and have a stopover in Masaka town for lunch. You will then connect on the Bukakata road for a ferry through Lake Victoria to Sesse Island. Enjoy breakfast at leisure and go for a guided nature walk on the beautiful Sesse Island where you will encounter lots of birds and enjoy the tranquil nature. Return to the lodge to relax and have lunch. In the afternoon / evening, you will go for a sunset boat cruise coupled with cold drinks for a real great relaxing time! Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight as above.
Enjoy breakfast and depart Sesse early for a ferry to Nakiwogo in Entebbe, the 3hr Journey to Entebbe gets you to Nakiwogo at 11am in the morning. Transfer to Entebbe Resort beach where you will relax off at the beach as you have your lunches and latter deliver to the airport for your flights back home.
